In Conversation with The Plum Edit

The Plum Edit is an online magazine sharing stories from independent creatives, makers and small businesses.

I was recently invited to be interviewed for their Sunday Series, a weekly feature that shares conversations with people working across creative industries.

The interview gave me a chance to reflect on how my work has developed over the years, the way I approach making, and how my ceramics have grown into what they are now.

In the interview, I talk about my studio practice, my background in sculpture, and the way I approach making functional pieces by hand. I also speak about the importance of pieces feeling natural to hold and use, and how small details in surface and form can change the feeling of an object.
